Privacy Policy

Zathen is built by DualCore Interactive. This policy describes what Zathen collects, how your content flows, and the controls you have. The short version: your meeting audio never leaves your device, your deals live on your device, and the only things our server keeps are your sign-in identifier, your purchase records, and a small count of how many free meetings you've used.

What we collect

• Apple ID identifier. When you sign in with Apple we receive a pseudonymous user identifier. We never receive or store your name or email address — the app doesn't ask Apple for them.
• Purchase records. When you subscribe, Apple notifies our server so we can verify your subscription. We store the subscription's transaction identifiers and status — never payment details.
• Free-tier usage count. To prevent abuse of our free tier, we keep a minimal counter of how many free meetings your account has used. It's tied to your Apple sign-in identifier and contains no meeting content. This counter is preserved even if you delete your account, so the free allowance can't be reset by deleting and recreating an account.

How your content flows

When you request AI assistance, the relevant deal details, selling approach, meeting plan, questions, and transcript text are sent over an encrypted connection to our server, which forwards them to Anthropic (our AI subprocessor) to produce questions, analysis, and follow-up drafts. This includes objectives, participants, assumptions, and value statements you enter in a meeting plan. Anthropic retains this content for up to 30 days solely for abuse detection, and does not use it to train models. We do not store your transcripts, meeting plans, or deal content on our server. Follow-up drafts are saved locally; Zathen does not automatically send them to customers.

Audio and local storage

• Meeting audio. Recording and transcription happen entirely on your iPhone or iPad. Audio is never uploaded and never written to our servers.
• Your workspace. Deals, meeting plans, questions, transcripts, analyses, and edited follow-up drafts are stored locally on your device. Relevant content is processed for AI assistance as described above, and you can choose to export or share it.

Your rights and controls

• Export. Settings → Export My Data produces a JSON file of your deals, selling approaches, questions, meetings and plans, transcripts, analyses, commitments, and saved follow-up drafts.
• Delete. Settings → Delete Account removes your account's subscription link, invalidates existing Zathen sessions, requests revocation of Zathen's connection to your Apple ID, and erases this account's local app data. If local cleanup fails, the app blocks access and lets you retry. We retain minimal pseudonymous security and billing records: the free-meeting usage count, any outstanding negative credit balance, session-revocation state, and transaction verification records needed to prevent replay and process refunds. These contain no meeting content. Subscriptions are managed and cancelled through Apple.
