Privacy Policy

Zathen is built by DualCore Interactive. This policy describes what Zathen collects, how your content flows, and the controls you have. The short version: your meeting audio never leaves your device, your deals live on your device, and the only things our server keeps are your sign-in identifier, your purchase records, and a small count of how many free meetings you've used.

What we collect

• Apple ID identifier. When you sign in with Apple we receive a pseudonymous user identifier. We never receive or store your name or email address — the app doesn't ask Apple for them.
• Purchase records. When you subscribe, Apple notifies our server so we can verify your subscription. We store the subscription's transaction identifiers and status — never payment details.
• Free-tier usage count. To prevent abuse of our free tier, we keep a minimal counter of how many free meetings your account has used. It's tied to your Apple sign-in identifier and contains no meeting content. This counter is preserved even if you delete your account, so the free allowance can't be reset by deleting and recreating an account.

How your content flows

When you generate questions or analyze a meeting, the deal details you entered and the meeting transcript text are sent over an encrypted connection to our server, which forwards them to Anthropic (our AI subprocessor) to produce questions and analysis. Anthropic retains this content for up to 30 days solely for abuse detection, and does not use it to train models. We do not store your transcripts or deal content on our server.

What never leaves your device

• Meeting audio. Recording and transcription happen entirely on your iPhone or iPad. Audio is never uploaded and never written to our servers.
• Your workspace. Deals, questions, transcripts, and analyses are stored locally on your device.

Your rights and controls

• Export. Settings → Export My Data produces a JSON file of everything Zathen has: your deals, questions, meetings, transcripts, and analyses.
• Delete. Settings → Delete Account permanently removes your sign-in link and purchase records from our server, revokes Zathen's connection to your Apple ID, and erases all app data from your device. We retain only the abuse-prevention count of free meetings used (with no meeting content). Subscriptions are managed and cancelled through Apple.
